The Budget Department is responsible for developing and maintaining the district's annual budget. Our goal is to maximize financial resources and to equitably distribute them to campuses and departments. School districts are required by the state to adopt an annual budget for the General Fund, National Breakfast and Lunch Program Fund and Debt Service Fund. The proposed budget is presented to the Humble ISD Board of Trustees for consideration and final adoption. The annual budget must be adopted before any funds can be spent. Throughout the fiscal year, budget amendments are presented to the board as necessary to continue the operations of the school district.
On June 11, 2024, the Humble ISD Board of Trustees adopted the 2024-25 Budget presented below.
